Contractors Plant and Machinery Insurance (CPM Insurance)

Contractors Plant and Machinery (CPM) Insurance provides comprehensive coverage for contractors and businesses against accidental damage, loss, and unforeseen risks affecting construction machinery and equipment. It ensures business continuity by protecting against natural disasters, operational risks, and sudden breakdowns.

Coverage
  • Accidental damage or loss during operation
  • Damage due to collision, overturning, or impact
  • Natural perils such as fire, lightning, flood, storm
  • Damage during transport, installation, or re-assembly
  • Unforeseen incidents including explosion or leakage

Coverage Period
1 year (Depending on policy period)(renewable)

Required Documents

  • Company Certificate / VAT Registration (Por Por 20)
  • Machinery registration book, purchase order, or quotation
  • Machinery details (type, brand, model, year of manufacture, chassis/engine number, sum insured)
  • Current photographs of the machinery
  • Loss history for the past 3 years
  • Previous insurance policy (if any)

  • Cranes, Forklifts, and Lifting Equipment
  • Earthmoving Equipment (Excavators, Bulldozers, Tractors, Graders)
  • Road Construction Equipment
  • Cranes with capacity up to 50 tons

Sum Insured
  • Forklifts, Boom Lifts Up to THB 3,000,000 per unit
  • Excavators, Bulldozers, Tractors, Graders, Road Rollers Up to THB 7,000,000 per unit
  • Cranes ( 50 tons) Up to THB 15,000,000 per unit

Annual Premium Rates
  • Forklifts, Boom Lifts 0.75% of the sum insured (minimum THB 7,500 per unit)
  • Excavators, Bulldozers, Tractors, Graders, Road Rollers 0.65% (minimum THB 10,000 per unit)
  • Cranes ( 50 tons) 0.85% (minimum THB 25,000 per unit)

Note: Premium rates exclude stamp duty (0.4%) and VAT (7%).
